Aims and Scope
JAPA Academy Journal is an international, peer-reviewed, gold open access journal publishing clinical and interdisciplinary research in all fields of medicine, surgery, and pediatrics discussing rare cases or disease biology, diagnosis, treatment, outcome, supportive care, epidemiology, and health disparities. The journal considers evidence-driven, scientifically valid findings including unique and original findings, pilot studies, and literature summarization. JAPA Academy Journal aims at publishing quality research with speed and efficiency with immediate and full access to the articles.

Open Access and Copyright
All articles published by JAPA Academy Journal are fully open access: immediately freely available to read, download and share and are published under the terms which allow reusers to distribute, remix, adapt, and build upon the material in any medium or format, so long as attribution is given to the creator and the original work is properly cited.
Peer Review and Manuscript Evaluation Criteria
JAPA Academy Journal uses a single-blind peer review model: editors and reviewers have access to the authors’ names and institutions; however, the identities of the reviewers are not revealed to the authors (except at the request of the referee). Manuscript evaluation criteria for all submissions are scientific rigor, evidence that the data is consistent with the conclusions, adherence to technical and ethical requirements, and the scope of the journal. If the journal receives a paper authored by an Editorial Board member, that member will have no involvement in the editorial process of that manuscript(s) submitted to the journal with no access to any confidential information, or input into the final decisions made by the Editor-in-Chief.
Launch and Editorial team
JAPA Academy Journal was launched in July 2022 with the viewpoint that all scientific data and evidence-driven general medical and surgical research has value and should be published and shared with the readers. JAPA Academy Journal is managed by a diverse Editorial Board led by Editor-in-Chief who is supported by a global team of researchers and clinicians from acclaimed institutes, and hospitals. The Editor-in-Chief and Associate Editors work together to evaluate all manuscripts and publish studies that are scientifically valid, technically fit, accurate and original in data and follows the ethical standards outlined in the journal guidelines.
